Craftable Uncraftables
Making items that should be craftable into craftable items. This datapack, in all versions, aims to add crafting recipes for normally uncraftable items that are reasonable in materials cost. For example, Saddles are cheap, and Totems of Undying are not. Currently available for 1.20.0 and 1.20.1.
Recipes added
- Bell ( 3 Stone, 1 Stick, 1 Gold Ingot )
- Saddle ( 3 Leather, 1 String, 1 Iron Ingot )
- Totem of Undying ( 1 Emerald, 1 Nether Star, 3 Gold Ingots )
- Mycelium ( 1 dirt, 1 red mushroom, 1 brown mushroom )
- Mud ( 1 dirt, 1 water bucket
- Sand ( 1 sandstone )
- Crying Obsidian ( 1 obsidian, 1 water bucket )
- Horse Armors ( 2 tripwire hooks, 1 saddle, 2 valid materials for horse armor )
- Chainmail Armors ( Chains in armor shapes )
- String ( 1 wool )
- Wool ( 4 string )
Rationale
Bell
Bells should be craftable, and at that, affordable.
Saddle
People shouldn't have to hunt around for saddles when they need one.
Totem of Undying
Undeath should be craftable, but not affordably.
Mycelium
It should be craftable with things from where it spawns.
Mud
Mud should be easy to make.
Sand
Sand should be easily compactable! 1 sandstone is 4 sand, so 4 sand should be 1 sandstone.
Crying Obsidian
It'd look cool to use in builds if it was easier to access!
Horse/Chainmail Armors
Cool armor!
String & Wool
Wool should give string, and string should give wool.

You can always get the very latest updates over on the Github page, but only the most stable and recipe-filled ( and working ) versions will be posted as releases to both the releases tab on Github and in the versions here on Modrinth.
