Heart & Stone: Vanilla Edition
A vanilla-friendly overhaul of equipment progression. Better durability, cleaner tooltips, and a reworked early game. No new items, mobs, or blocks.
Installing this will convert all your existing gear to the pack's stats permanently. Back up your world first.
Features
- Tools & armor last way longer - most items get 1.5x-6x their vanilla durability, so you don't need Mending as much.
- Stone tools are no longer craftable - Copper tools take their place as the new early tier.
- Wooden tools got buffed to compensate - the wooden pickaxe can even mine copper ore now.
- Cleaner tooltips - with simple icons instead of vanilla's clutter.
- Gold and leather armor are actually worth wearing now - gold reduces burning time, leather reduces fall damage.
- Gold tools also got a buff - they keep their naturally fast mining speed, attack noticeably faster than before, and no longer break after a few uses.
- Netherite hits much harder - stats reflect how much of a grind it is to get.
Installing
Drop the pack into your world's datapacks folder and run /reload (or restart the world).
Note: Removing the pack later won't undo the conversion - items keep their new stats either way.
