Many times, dying can be very painful, as you lose all of your precious gear. This can cause you to rage quit and have a very bad day overall. However, this datapack gives you a chance to prevent those items from vanishing, thus making them unvanish.
Features
On every death, each item stack in your inventory, including your offhand and armour, will have a 30% chance to return to you undamaged after you die. The rest of the items will just be dropped at your death location as usual.
New enchantment: Binding of Unvanishing. It can be put on any piece of gear that has durability, like your sword or chestplate or even compass. If you die, those items enchanted with this have a 100% chance of returning to you, but the enchantment will be removed as a result. (see below for how to obtain it)
New structure: The Vortex. This is a very big structute the sole purpose of which is to let you obtain the Binding of Unvanishing enchantment. It generates in multiple biomes, such as deserts and jungles. To obtain the enchanted book of the Binding of Unvanishing, you have to place a villager right in the centre of the vortex pit, then it will become "binded". After killing the villager, it will drop the enchanted book.
John: Yes, John. He is a phantom. For every phantom that spawns, there is a 5% chance that it will be a John. John is very big and has a lot of health. He is also very scary. However, defeating him will give you a Charm of the Scavenger, with a level from 1 to 3, with higher levels dropping less.
Charm of the Scavenger: With this datapack on, you may feel pissed that killing an enemy player less rewarding as they will get to keep some of their items. But this item changes that. All you have to do is put this item in your inventory and its effects will show, with you emitting shiny golden particles. With every level of this charm, whenever you kill a player, the chances of each of their items returning is decreased by 5%. Warning: Do not have more than 1 of this charms in your inventory at the same time! Their levels will temporarily become 1 and your shiny golden particles will turn brown.
