MonitoringMinecraftAllows totem of undying to be used as a shield. Uses durability.
Modifies totems so they can block. They lose durability at the same rate as a shield, but cannot be enchanted.
Datapack must be enabled for totems to be updated, but any totems updated while the pack is enabled remain able to block even without the pack. Totem must be in hand to be modified.
