Overview

Sunlit Mons is a backport Data and Resource Pack for versions of Cobblemon past 1.5.2. It's main purpose is for the upcoming modpack Society: Sunlit Cobblemon, but it can be used outside of it with a little tweaking.

It includes new Pokemon and forms from versions of Cobblemon after 1.5.2 (up to the latest version at this time 1.7.3). It also includes updates species data for all Pokemom and sets them as implemented, as well as block/item assets for modpack implementation.

This is a backport made to comply with Cobblemon's licenses. All of the assets and data come straight from the Cobblemon mod with minimal tweaking for compatibility.

Cobblemon's data is licensed under the MPL.

Certain models are licensed under CC BY-NC 3.0. The license for those models is included in this datapack.

Q&A

Q: Why not add x Pokemon missing from the base 1.5.2? This one is likely covered by existing 1.20.1 resource/datapacks such as MissingMons.

Q: Will you backport animations as well? Maybe! It's time consuming to backport animations from later versions of Cobblemon as they may have some breaking changes that need manual fixes, especially due to the riding feature.

Q: How can I use this in my own modpack? Make sure you have the other 1.20.1 cobblemon resource packs installed! You might need to do some tweaking to make some of these spawn in your world. I've tried to make this RP/DP as minimal as possible.
