Sprinting whilst mid-flight will continuously boost yourself forwards, this is exhausting to do however. Holding the jump while boosting will increase upward velocity.

You are able to use rockets to aid in flight, and you are also unable to fly while wearing a chestplate.

The weight of your wings makes it hard for you to balance yourself properly on land, thus you travel much slower than others and you cannot sprint.
