Did you know that plains villages can't spawn in the sunflower plains biome? That only Bedrock Edition has villages in the snowy taiga? I didn't either, let's fix that.
VillageHere is my first datapack that was initially created to provide a solution to a simple question... "Why is there no village here?" There are many biomes that an existing structure would fit perfectly into, but have not been set to spawn in. This pack serves as an expansion to the spawning parameters for vanilla villages, pillager outposts, jungle temples, igloos, and trail ruins, without making these structures seem out of their element or crowding them too densely with each other. This pack also adds palette-swapped villages to sparse jungles and birch forests, to give unpopular biomes an extra reason to be used by the player.
This pack is ideal for anyone who prefers a more consistent, sensical spread of structures in their world without adding any new ones, and is especially ideal for SMP servers with limited world borders, as there will be more structures to go around without making the map seem much different from a vanilla minecraft world.

Notes:
- Biomes with non-tree surface features (eroded badlands, ice spikes) cause generation issues that lead to suffocating villagers, golems, and allays. They have not been given outposts or villages for this reason.
- I may eventually be motivated to create custom architecture for the new village types, but for now they are simple palette swaps that seem fitting for their resprctive biomes.
- This pack edits worldgen tags in the default minecraft namespace which may cause incompatibilities with other structure or worldgen packs. Check for changes to these locations in your other packs and mods to see if this will be in issue:
