Proximity Voice Chat
When nearby other players, you can talk as if in a voice call! But walk too far away, and their voice will get quieter until you can't hear them- so you'll have to stay close! (Normal text chat is still available)
Revive your friends within a short time if they go down
When you run out of health, instead of dying, you will go "down" for a short time, where other players can revive you! The bigger the party you're playing with, the more likely of being able to recover from downs you'll be. Also helps prevent annoying freak deaths that you could have done nothing to stop- huzzah!
Cook food to help you & your friends!
Four new crops to find and grow. A stove, pot, pan, knife, cutting board. New food from Smoked Ham & Melon Juice, to Squid Ink Pasta & Shepard's Pie! A lot of the new foods give temporary buffs to aid in your adventures, so make sure to stock up before going out!
Ender Dragon drops an Elytra
No more needing to worry about coming in too late and missing all the fun and having a hard time getting elytra, just respawn the dragon and slay it!
Immersive coordinates and time, and new map
The usual way players get world coordinates (the debug menu) has been removed in favor of HUD elements that appear when you have a compass in your inventory. There is also a world map that fills out as you explore, press [y] to view it!
Easy magic/anvil, tax free levels
Experience levels are easier to get, reroll enchantments for a small cost, renaming items is free and xp repar cost with an anvil doesn't get more expensive. Enchant, repair, name, and customize your gear much easier!
Immersive interfaces, lootr
Beautiful pixel art UI for most interfaces, and naturally spawning chests from structures will have unique loot for each player, so no need to worry about finding already looted chests!
Fancy crops, Angel's weather, 3d skin layers, performance mods
crop variation, beautiful and calm rain sounds, skins are 3d, improved performance!
