QuestCreate VR – A Steampunk VR Adventure
Standalone VR • External Server Mode • Universal Client Support • Shader Support (PC Version)
QuestCreate VR combines Create-style steampunk automation, exploration, farming, and world-building into a highly optimized, smooth VR experience — originally designed for standalone Quest headsets, but fully playable on virtually any device.
Play however you want:
- standalone on the Quest,
- with a lightweight external server for huge worlds,
- or as a normal modpack on PC / Laptop / Android (PojavLauncher).
⚙️ Automation & Technology
At the core of QuestCreate VR is Create — mechanical conveyors, gears, shafts, flywheels, contraptions and kinetic systems with real physics.
Key technology mods:
- Create
- Steam 'n' Rails – locomotives, rail networks, monorails
- Slice & Dice – advanced farming & kitchen automation
- CC: Tweaked – programmable Lua computers & turtles
- Polymorph – clean recipe conflict resolver
Design large factories, transport systems, and automation loops that remain intuitive and performant in VR.

A richer overworld with structures and loot — optimized so standalone VR clients don't choke on worldgen.
- Explorify – camps, ruins, small dungeons
- Artifacts – rare items found in structures
- Waystones – fast travel
- Nature's Compass – locate biomes
- Trinkets – extra equipment slots
- Charm of Undying – Totem gets its own slot
Explore, gear up, grab artifacts, and expand your steampunk base.
🌱 Farming & Food
Built around Farmer's Delight for deep cooking and agricultural progression.

- full farm → processing → cooking automation via Create & Slice & Dice
- Crops Love Rain – faster growth
- Smarter Farmers – villagers replant mod crops

A natural and immersive survival loop that feels great in VR.

🔧 Play Anywhere – Cross-Platform Support
QuestCreate VR runs on almost every platform — and behaves much like a modern Bedrock-style architecture:
- the client stays extremely lightweight,
- the server can run anywhere (PC, laptop, tablet, phone),
- all platforms connect seamlessly to the same world,
- and heavy world generation is offloaded automatically.
This makes the pack far more flexible than typical Java modpacks: VR on Quest • Java performance on PC • mobile support via Pojav • shared servers across all devices.
1. Quest Standalone (VR Mode)
A lightweight, VR-optimized client with minimal overhead and smooth performance.
- local worlds supported
- perfect for small to medium Create builds
- fully immersive controls
2. External Server Mode (Recommended for large worlds)
Run the world on any device:
- laptops
- PCs
- mini-PCs
- tablets
- Android phones
- handhelds (Retroid, Odin, etc.)
The Quest (or any other client) connects and handles only rendering.
This unlocks:
- richer world generation
- bigger structures
- smoother performance
- zero chunk-generation lag
Perfect for complex factories and exploration-heavy worlds.
🏗️ Server Expansion – Enhanced World Generation & Structures
When running QuestCreate VR with an external server, the world becomes far richer and more complex.
The server can handle heavy worldgen and structure mods that are intentionally not included in the Quest client.
Major Structure & Worldgen Enhancements
- Terralith – large-scale biomes and terrain overhaul
- When Dungeons Arise + Seven Seas – massive multi-level dungeons
- Dungeons & Taverns – handcrafted locations across the world
- Structory – natural, lore-friendly building generation
- Moog's Voyager Structures – exploration-focused structures
- Moog's Structure Lib – engine for advanced world generation
- Explorify (Server Variant) – enhanced ruins and points of interest
- ChoiceTheorem's Overhauled Village (CTOV) – improved village layouts
- Lithostitched – biome stitching and blending for seamless terrain
YUNG's Complete Structure Suite
- Better Dungeons
- Better Mineshafts
- Better Strongholds
- Better Nether Fortresses
- Better Ocean Monuments
- Better End Island
- Better Witch Huts
- Bridges
- Better Jungle Temples
- Better Desert Temples
These mods bring:
- deeper exploration
- more detailed terrain
- vast structures and ruins
- significantly more variety and replayability
Why these are Server-only
Heavy worldgen calculations strain standalone VR devices.
By offloading them to a server (even a tiny laptop or Android phone), the Quest client remains smooth while still experiencing full world depth.
The Quest client gets all structures, dungeons, and biomes — but without freezing or lag, because all generation is handled externally.
3. Universal Client Mode (PC / Laptop / Android / PojavLauncher)
QuestCreate VR also runs as a normal modpack without VR:
- Windows
- Linux
- macOS
- Android via PojavLauncher
All modes are compatible with the same servers and the same worlds.
