AllMobsExplode
Turn ordinary Minecraft mobs into walking explosives!
When an eligible mob approaches a player, it primes like a creeper and explodes after a configurable delay. The project also includes optional ranked Ender Dragon speedruns with live timers and local leaderboards.

Choose the file matching your server:
- Modern Paper/Purpur/Spigot: Minecraft 26.1–26.2
- Legacy Paper/Purpur/Spigot: Minecraft 1.8.8–1.21.11
- Fabric/Quilt: Minecraft 26.2
The Fabric/Quilt edition requires Fabric API. It can run server-side without players installing the mod. Client installation is optional and adds the custom top-right speedrun timer.
Installation
Paper, Purpur, or Spigot
- Stop the server.
- Place the correct JAR inside the
pluginsfolder. - Start the server.
- Use
/ame helpto view the commands.
Fabric or Quilt
- Install Fabric Loader or Quilt Loader.
- Install Fabric API.
- Place AllMobsExplode inside the
modsfolder. - Start the game or server.
Commands
/ame and /allmobsexplode are equivalent.

Optional Ranked Speedruns
Speedruns are completely optional. Nobody is timed unless they deliberately start a ranked run.
A run begins with /ame run start and finishes when the player defeats the Ender Dragon.

Ranked runs require:
- Survival mode
- A non-Peaceful difficulty
- A fresh, unused world
- No operator or administrative powers
- Only one player online
- Explosions and speedruns enabled
Starting a run clears the player's inventory, armor, Ender Chest, XP, effects, and previous survival progress.
Runs are invalidated by administrative assistance, Creative or Spectator mode, relevant configuration changes, reused worlds, gameplay-changing commands, or another player joining.
Completion records include the player, time, seed, difficulty, Minecraft version, server platform, explosion settings, and completion date. Leaderboard records are signed and tamper-evident.
Operators can manage speedruns with:
/ame speedrun
/ame speedrun status
/ame speedrun toggle
An operator must de-op before participating in a ranked run.
