Better Crits is a Better Combat addon that improves Minecraft critical hits by making them depend on accuracy and player aim 🐻👍

How works

The closer your crosshair is to the center of the target, the higher your chance of landing a critical hit. Optionally, aiming accuracy can also increase critical hit damage.

Everything can be configured using gamerules and attributes.

Requires the player's crosshair to intersect the target's hitbox for a critical hit.

Player hits a mob without pointing the crosshair directly at it, and still triggers a critical hit

require_crosshair_for_crit = false

Player points the crosshair directly at the mob to trigger a critical hit, missing the target prevents the crit

require_crosshair_for_crit = true

better-crits:use_aim_for_crit_chance_multiplier

Controls whether aiming accuracy affects critical hit chance.

Attributes

Better Crits adds custom attributes:

crit_chance — base critical hit chance.
crit_power — base critical hit power.
max_crit_angle — maximum angle where accuracy affects the critical hit.
max_crit_chance_multiplier — maximum critical chance multiplier from accuracy.
max_crit_power_multiplier — maximum critical power multiplier from accuracy.
