With this datapack, any sword can be used as a shield, but will only block half the damage.
Features:
- When a player takes a sword into his hand, the
blocks_attacksanduse_cooldowncomponents are added to it.- The
use_cooldowncomponent is needed for the general delay group for all swords separately from shields;
- The
- The sword blocks half of the damage;
- After disabling blocking with an axe, the player cannot use the sword as a shield or as a weapon at all;
- If the player has a shield in either hand, blocking with sword is disabled.
