Breed Parrots With Seeds!
This mod allows you to breed parrots just like any other mob in the game. The dev's decided to pass up on some of the cutest mobs to breed, so here we are.
How It Works 🐦
PARROT BREEDING: Simply get two of your tamed parrots, and feed them with any type of seed. Ensure that they are not sitting down or mounted on your shoulder. After that, they will enter a breeding state, producing heart particles. After a short period of time, the parrots will produce a little baby parrot. The offspring will inherit a variant from either of the parents! The baby parrot will automatically be tamed.
Installation 📥
- Download the appropiate .jar file for your game version
- From your downloads, place the mods .jar file into your Minecraft mods folder
- Launch Minecraft with the Fabric mod loader, and breed some parrots!
Note for multiplayer servers 🎮
For the mod to work properly, all players should have the mod downloaded, along with the server itself. While the core mechanics of parrot breeding will work for those who do not have the mod downloaded, the breeding process will appear buggy, and the small sized baby parrots will appear to be normal sized parrots. This is due to the fact that the mod changes the way that parrots are rendered if they are a baby, and all rendering is handled on the client side of the game.
