Contraband Scanner (Nirvana)

Contraband Scanner - mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge)

Item "Prohibited Scanner": by pressing RMB, it checks the area and writes to the chat, whether a forbidden item was found (by default - items from the nirvana mod).

What is scanned in radius (default 50 blocks):

• containers - chests, barrels, shulkers, furnaces, hoppers, dispensers and any mod blocks that provide a standard ItemHandler;
• blocks in the world - growing plants, cars, any blocks of the target mod;
• objects lying on the ground;
• inventories of other players and their ender chests.

Right click - detection by range zones, without exact coordinates:

• up to detectorRadius (16 m) - "close proximity is prohibited, aim with the detector";
• from detectorRadius to scanRadius (16–50 m) - "prohibited nearby" (just a fact);
• from scanRadius to farRadius (50–100 m) - "there is a prohibition" + cardinal direction;
• further than farRadius (100 m) - it does not see.

The exact location is never given out: from afar you get directions, closer - a fact presence, but the squeak of the detector brings it close. The pitch of the sound is higher for near zones and lower for distant zones.

Metal detector mode: while an item is selected in the hand, it passively "rings" area and beeps - the closer to the prohibited, the more often the squeak and the higher the tone. Right click at the same time, it still produces a full report with a list of finds.
