Create: Kinetic Waypoints adds a Create-powered fast-travel system centered around one main block: the Kinetic Waypoint.
Connect a waypoint to your Create kinetic network, let it generate Transit Charge, discover other waypoints, and travel between them through a clean mechanical interface.

🔋 Transit Charge
Kinetic Waypoints do not use Forge Energy, RF, or FE.
Instead, rotational power generates a custom resource called Transit Charge, displayed as TC.
The waypoint only generates Transit Charge when:
- It is connected to Create rotational power
- Its RPM is high enough
- The kinetic network is not overstressed
- Its internal Transit Charge storage is not full
Higher RPM allows the waypoint to generate Transit Charge faster.
Travel costs depend on the destination:
- 📍 Same dimension: base cost plus a cost for every block travelled
- 🌌 Different dimension: a separate cross-dimension travel cost
Failed travel attempts do not consume Transit Charge.
🧭 Using a Kinetic Waypoint
- Place a Kinetic Waypoint
- Connect a Create shaft to the machine
- Supply enough rotational speed
- Wait for the waypoint to generate Transit Charge
- Activate other Kinetic Waypoints to discover them
- Open the Kinetic Transit Network
- Select a destination
- Press the travel button and begin teleportation
At departure and arrival, the waypoint uses portal particles and an Enderman-style teleport sound for clear visual and audio feedback.

The transit interface allows you to:
- 🔍 Search discovered destinations
- 📋 Sort destinations by name, distance, dimension, or recent use
- 🌍 Filter destinations by dimension and visibility
- ⭐ Add or remove favorites
- 🔋 View the Transit Charge travel cost
- ⚙️ Check the source waypoint's RPM and machine status
- 🚀 Travel to an available destination
Unavailable destinations clearly explain why travel is currently blocked.
🔐 Waypoint Visibility
Every waypoint can use one of three visibility modes:
👤 Personal
Only the owner can access and manage the waypoint.
🤝 Shared
Players who have discovered or activated the waypoint can use it.
🌐 Global
The waypoint is visible across the network to all permitted players.
Waypoint names and visibility settings can be changed through the configuration screen.
🛡️ Safe and Server-Validated Travel
Before teleporting a player, the mod verifies that:
- The source waypoint still exists
- The destination waypoint still exists
- The player is close enough to the source
- The source has enough Transit Charge
- The source has enough RPM
- The kinetic network is not overstressed
- The player has permission to use the destination
- The destination visibility allows access
- A safe arrival position exists
If any check fails, travel is cancelled without consuming Transit Charge.
🧱 Create-Inspired Design
The Kinetic Waypoint is designed to fit naturally alongside Create machinery.
Its crafting recipe uses Create materials such as:
- Brass Casing
- Andesite Casing
- Shaft
- Precision Mechanism
- Electron Tube
- Polished Rose Quartz
The block also uses wooden placement and breaking sounds to match its casing-based construction.
