Turn Minecraft into a dark-fantasy open-world RPG — in one mod.
EldenReach RPG rebuilds Minecraft as a single-mod RPG. Eight activity skills that level by doing, gear hard-gated behind those levels, 508 authored quests across themed chains, a seven-discipline skill tree, and an overworld that generates as Elden Ring-style plateaus and escarpments — all wrapped in an ornate gold-on-obsidian interface with framed stat bars, a scrolling compass, a circular terrain minimap, a stamina-powered sprint and fully restyled title, pause and inventory screens.
Everything is built on vanilla mechanics — attributes, status effects, vanilla items and drops. No custom items, no combat rewrites.
Previously released as "Eldenreach UI". Same mod, same mod id — your existing worlds carry over.

RPG HUD
- Player frame with your actual skin portrait in a gilded frame, your name, and your level
- Health & stamina bars in tapered gold frames with exact
current / maxvalues — no more counting hearts - Stamina system: sprinting drains stamina, and an empty bar leaves you exhausted until you recover. Vanilla mechanics underneath, RPG feel on top
- Ornate hotbar with framed slots, key-number badges, a glowing selection indicator and an attack-cooldown sweep

Menus

- Inventory restyled with a dark parchment panel, gold trim and gilded title — slots, recipe book and your 3D player preview untouched
Quests & Skills
- 158 built-in quests across three tiers of difficulty: slay mobs, mine blocks, and gather resources — from "First Steps" to 200-kill hunts, with XP and item rewards (diamonds, emeralds, trophies) granted automatically on completion
- Quest tracker on the HUD (toggle with
Z) and a full quest journal screen (J) with progress bars and reward previews - Skill tree (
K): 109 hand-authored skills across seven disciplines that unseal as your activity skills level. Spend points earned from playing on vanilla-friendly perks — damage, armor, reach, break speed, luck — up to permanent auras like Strength and Fire Resistance. You can never afford all of it, and you can respec any time - Discovery toast announces each new biome you set foot in, RPG-style
Compatibility
- Client-side visuals — quest and skill progression runs locally in singleplayer; on multiplayer the server needs the mod too
- Built on the standard Fabric HUD and screen APIs, so it coexists with other mods' overlays
- Works alongside Sodium, Iris, ImmediatelyFast and other performance mods; uses Sodium's video settings screen when Sodium is installed
Notes
- Progression (quests, skills) is per-world and vanilla-friendly: no new items, blocks, or combat changes — rewards are vanilla items and XP.
- If you use another minimap mod (e.g. JourneyMap), disable one of the two minimaps — they overlap by design.
- Bug reports and suggestions are welcome on the issue tracker.
- Does not work with the essentials mod.
