Enchantments Plus 2.0
Fifteen enchantments that feel like they were always there.
Enchantments Plus 2.0 adds a small, deliberate set of enchantments to Minecraft. No new blocks, no new items, no new UI — just enchantments, obtained the normal way, on the gear you already use. Every one of them is fully configurable, and every one can be switched off.
The enchantments
Swords

Enchantments you control
Three of them are yours to switch on and off, because always-on would be a nuisance:
- Speed and Night Vision toggle with a keybind, and stay off until you want them.
- Excavator cycles through shapes — single block, 1×2 corridor, 3×3, 5×5, 7×7 — with an outline showing exactly what you are about to break before you break it.
Timed effects show a small HUD indicator with the time remaining, so you always know whether something is charging, active or on cooldown. Position and formatting are configurable.
Configurable, all of it
config/enchantments-plus.json is generated on first run and holds every number the mod uses. Not just on/off — the actual balance:

Every enchantment has enabled and maxLevel, plus whatever else it needs — durations, chances, damage, radius, cooldowns, hearts per armour piece. Too strong for your server? Turn the numbers down. Don't want one at all? Set enabled to false.
Built to play well with others
The enchantments are data-driven and use vanilla item tags wherever vanilla has one that fits — enchantable/sword, enchantable/mining, enchantable/durability and so on. A modded pickaxe that is already in the vanilla mining tag can take Auto Smelt and Excavator without anyone writing a line of compatibility code. Where vanilla has no suitable tag, the mod defines its own, which datapacks can widen or narrow freely.
Everything obtainable the normal way: enchanting table, villager trades, loot. Nothing here bypasses the game's economy.
Better Enchant
If you also run Better Enchant, these show up in its interface on their own — full names, descriptions, level ranges and item restrictions included. Neither mod knows the other exists; Better Enchant simply reads the enchantment registry. Both work perfectly well alone.

Required on both the client and the server. Strictly speaking the server is the mandatory side — a vanilla client can connect without being kicked — but it will see untranslated enchantment names, no HUD, and will have no way to switch Speed, Night Vision or Excavator on. Install it on both. Singleplayer needs nothing special.
