Fancy Ferrets!
Requires DragN's Livestock Overhaul 1.20.1-2.7+ as a dependency.
Fancy Ferrets is a small mod that includes ferrets and decor for them.
Ferrets spawn in Forests and can be tamed with eggs, chicken or rabbit meat. They come in different colors, patterns, and even eye colors (which have different chances of being certain colors, such as green or blue, based on how light the ferret's coat is).
Once tamed, your ferret can be told to sit. More importantly, it can hunt for food for both itself and you. Your ferret has a small inventory that can be opened by shift-right-clicking it.
You don't have to tell your ferret to hunt, as it'll do it automatically (just keep it away from your chickens and rabbits!). Once your ferret has hunted its prey, you can take the spoils from their inventory, if you so choose.
You can also tell your ferret to simply wander by shift-left-clicking it.
