Hidden Frames

Make item frames invisible, lock them, dye their background, and place them close together — all with simple right-clicks using vanilla items, no commands needed.

✨ Features

• 👻 Make invisible — Sneak + right-click with a stick hides the frame completely and shrinks its hitbox. The displayed item stays fully visible (and can even be scaled up).
• 🔒 Lock — Right-click with a honeycomb locks a frame in place (no longer rotatable, item-fixed, blast-proof, won't fall) — exactly like waxing copper, particles and sound included.
• ✂️ Unlock — Right-click with shears removes the lock again.
• 🎨 Dye — Sneak + right-click with any dye colors the frame's background in one of 16 colors.
• 💧 Undye — Sneak + right-click with a water bottle washes the color back out, no need to break the frame.
• 📐 Place closer together — multiple frames can be placed on adjacent faces right next to each other, instead of being limited to one frame per face like in vanilla.
• ⚙️ Fully configurable — hitbox size, item size, and more, all adjustable through ModMenu, and the whole mod can be toggled off entirely.

Everything is saved per frame, survives restarts, and is synced for everyone in multiplayer.

• neoforge Loader 26.2.0.8-beta or newer
• Fabric API (required) (only for Fabric Loader)
• ModMenu (optional, for the settings screen (only for Fabric Loader))

⚡ Performance

Frames without any special feature behave exactly like vanilla — no measurable overhead. Dyed frames cost one small extra draw call per frame; the color is only recomputed when it actually changes, not every single frame.
