A simple Minecraft datapack that adds higher levels to (most) vanilla enchantments, makes some incompatible enchantments compatible (eg. Sharpness and Smite).
Editable .json files in /data/minecraft/enchantment/ allow for changing the highest level for each enchantment.

The default enchantment levels are:
- Aqua Affinity - 3
- Bane of Arthropods - 8, now compatible with Smite, Sharpness, Tridents
- Blast Protection - 6, now compatible with all other types of Protection
- Breach - 6, now compatible with Density, Wind Burst, Smite, Bane of Arthropods, Imapling, Swords, Axes, Tridents and Spears
- Channeling - 1 (unchanged)
- Density - 8
- Depth Strider - 3 (unchanged)
- Efficiency - 8
- Feather Falling - 7
- Fire Aspect - 4
- Fire Protection - 6, now compatible with all other types of Protection
- Flame - 3, now compatible with Crossbows
- Fortune - 6
- Frost Walker - 5
- Impaling - 8, now compatible with Sharpness, Smite, Bane of Arthropods, Density. Breach, Density, Swords, Axes, Maces and Spears
- Infinity - 1, now compatible with Mending and Crossbows
- Knockback - 5
- Looting - 5, now compatible with Axes
- Loyalty - 5
- Luck Of The Sea - 5
- Lunge - 5, uses less saturation than base game
- Lure - 5
- Mending - 3, now compatible with Infinity

As of version 1.1 there is an optional Horse Armor file for 1.21.11 that allows you to enchant Horse Armor with:
- Blast Protection, Fire Protection, Projectile Protection and Protection
- Feather Falling
- Thorns
These are the only ones that seem to work as evident by the Minecraft Wiki article and my own testing. The levels are the same as on normal armor.
As of version 1.3 Horse Armor and Wolf Armor are included, Wolf Armor can be enchanted with:
- Blast Protection, Fire Protection (only secondary effects apply since)
- Projectile Protection (although this does nothing since it doesn't have a secondary effect)
- Protection - reduces damage taken (and therefore also increases durability) from some types of damage
- Unbreaking - increases durability by up to 600% at level VI
- Thorns - works as intended
- Mending - only works if armor is held in hand by the player
As opposed to Horse Armor, Feather Falling has no effect, and is therefore not appliable.
As of 1.3 there is also a optional file that adds the ability to enchant Nautilus Armor. It can be enchanted with the same enchantments as horse armor except Feather Falling.
