Hollowed
Something is spreading through the world, hollowing out everything it touches.
This is an early alpha. The Hollowing itself and the Vein Crawler are fully realized; the rest of the roster is implemented and spawns in-world, but is still wearing placeholder models while the final art gets made.
The Hollowing
A corruption status effect inflicted by the mod's mobs. It ramps up in intensity the longer it's active — your vision starts to distort as it builds, and if it's left unchecked it eventually deals a burst of damage before clearing.
Vein Crawler — finished and ready to fight
A fast, wall-climbing spider-kin that hunts by ambush. Its bite doesn't just hurt — it latches onto its target, drains their life over several seconds, and leaves the Hollowing behind. Fight it off before it finishes feeding. Complete model, texture, and animation set (idle, walk, attach, drain).
Also in this build (placeholder visuals)
- Hollowed Wanderer — slow and easy to outrun alone, but it alerts every other Wanderer nearby the moment it spots you.
- The Watcher — freezes the instant you look at it, and only closes the distance when you look away.
- Voidshade — light-averse, actively flees toward darkness.
- The First Hollowed — a 3-phase boss with a melee slam and a ranged void-blast that unlocks in its later phases.
Also included
- Hollowed Essence — a crafting material dropped by corrupted mobs. Recipes are on the roadmap.
- Spawn eggs for all five mobs.

Bug reports and balance feedback are genuinely useful at this stage, especially on the Vein Crawler's latch-and-drain attack.
