iammojogo's Hang Glider Mod
This mod adds a very simple but extramely useful travel that many players have seen mods for before. This one differs in two major ways that I have experienced and improved on from mods I have used:
- It does zero damage to teh player upon contact with ground as long as the hang glider is deployed! Glitching can occur due to tick rates but best so far with damage control of player health
- The phsyics accounts for how close you are to teh ground so that when high enough in the air, you are full airborne and when hyou get close enough to ground, the player actually gets ready to land by switching body position so you will land on your feet!
Deployable ONLY in the offhand as well. This means, you can still eat, attack, etc in the right hand (fun trying to chase phantoms btw ;)). It is meant to also NOT deploy when you are looking at a block, for example trying to build or destroy, so that accidental deployments are avoided. It will only deploy when you right click when not looking directly at a block that is NOT air.
Durability will be set to 500 usage in teh future. Non-stackable. Flying while pressing "A" or "D" will bank the hang glider while forward motion is automatic and DOES consider the angle of attack where lifting up will slow you down and pointing down will speed you up a bit :)
Crafting is easy and is shown in the screenshots.

Minecraft 1.21.11 Forge 61+ Client-side only (no server installation needed)
