The original Immersive Lanterns mod by Toni has not been updated for current loaders and shipped with hard dependencies that break many modpacks notably requiring specific dynamic-light and belt-slot mods even when you use alternatives.
This is an unofficial NeoForge 1.21.1 build that removes those requirements and restores proper optional integration. All credit for the mod concept and assets goes to Toni (Txni); this fork only ports and fixes compatibility (GitHub · issue #38 on the original repo).

mods.tomldependencies the game loads without Curios, Accessories, or dynamic-light mods installed - Curios and Accessories use either or both in the same pack (belt detection, rendering, and dynamic lights work for both)
- Dynamic lights optional LambDynamicLights and/or Sodium Dynamic Lights
- Iris optional shader held-item light mapping when Iris is present
