iMode
iMode is a dark fantasy progression mod for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1. Its main goal is to make the world become more dangerous the farther players travel from spawn, creating a stronger sense of exploration, preparation, and survival pressure.
Instead of only adding stronger gear, iMode focuses mostly on making the world harsher and more mysterious. Players are pushed to use magic and outside progression tools to survive deeper zones.
Important recommendation
iMode makes Minecraft significantly harder, but it does not yet fully provide all the gear, enchantments, weapons, or strengthening systems needed to compensate for that difficulty. For the best experience, it is recommended to play iMode alongside other mods that add stronger armor, weapons, enchantments, accessories, or player-strengthening mechanics.
It kinda does after 5.5's spell system.

Beta warning
This is an early beta. Balance is not final, and many systems are still being expanded or reworked. Dungeons, bosses, rituals, contracts, spells, mob scaling, loot, and progression may change heavily between versions.
A new world is recommended.
