What the project does:
King of Fools Overhaul is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.5 that adds new blocks, items, and quality-of-life features. Currently, it introduces tin ore (with deepslate variant), marble and its building blocks, vein mining, tree feller, and improved leaf decay. All new ores and blocks are fully integrated with crafting, smelting, and loot tables. Nothing has been removed from vanilla; only additions and improvements. In future updates, the mod will begin to seriously overhaul game progression—including reworking ore systems (such as exploding nether ore), tech trees (as an uncertain example), and more.
Why download:
This mod is for testers and early adopters who want to help shape a new tech/progression mod inspired by classic Tekkit. The goal is to slowly build a 1.21.5 "Tekkit-like" experience, with feedback and feature requests welcome. As development continues, expect major changes to progression, balance, and gameplay. If you want to see new features, test early builds, or suggest ideas, this project is for you.
Critical information:
- Requires Minecraft 1.21.5, Fabric Loader 0.16.9, and Fabric API 0.119.5+1.21.5
- Only adds new content for now; vanilla gameplay is untouched, but will be overhauled in future updates
- Early alpha: expect frequent updates, balance changes, and evolving gameplay
