Longest Day/Night Clock
Ever felt like the Minecraft day is just too short? Not enough time to build, farm, or explore before the sun drops? This mod gives the humble Clock a reason to exist.
Tidewatch Enchantment
Find a Tidewatch enchanted book and apply it to any Clock. While that enchanted clock sits in your inventory, the entire day/night cycle slows down — for both day and night.

How to get it
Tidewatch is a treasure enchantment — you can't roll it at an enchanting table or buy it from villagers. The only way to find it is inside shipwreck treasure chests. Go dig up some sunken loot.
- Tidewatch I — 10% chance
- Tidewatch II — 8% chance
- Tidewatch III — 5% chance
The rules
- Keep it in your inventory — the clock only works while carried in your main inventory or offhand. Tuck it inside a Shulker Box and the effect switches off.
- Levels don't stack or combine — an anvil won't merge two Tidewatch clocks into a higher level. What you find is what you get.
- Highest level wins — on a multiplayer world, the strongest active Tidewatch among all players sets the pace for everyone. Want it gone? Take it from whoever's carrying it.
- Death has a cost:
- With keepInventory off (default) — the clock drops on the ground like your other items. Anyone can grab it.
- With keepInventory on — the clock is destroyed instead of being kept. On worlds where death normally costs you nothing, this one item still slips through your fingers.
Compatibility
Forge 1.20.1. Works client and server (install on both). No config needed — drop it in and play.
Some who peek under the hood with item-inspection mods may notice this clock answers to another name.
