Lunar Phase | Custom Overworld for the Lunar Phase SMP

Global Behavior

• All Villages are redesigned Space Villages, with builds provided by emchmu
• Farm animals and Horses can spawn on End Stone
• There are no aquifers
• Ores are unchanged from vanilla (but may require digging a little deeper to reach the Stone layer)
• Using Bonemeal on Grass Blocks in any biome produces noise-based random flowers, similar to vanilla Flower Forests
• Metal Salvage in the form of Rockets, Moon Rovers, and Radio Antennas can generate on the surface of most biomes
• Many biomes are peppered with Craters, some of which can contain remains of meteorites in the form of Raw Ore blocks or Packed Ice
• Dungeons have been replaced with alien Dungeons, featuring multiple Spawners and more Chests

Lunar Wastes

• End Stone surface
• Common Chorus Plants
• Lots of Short and Dry grasses
• Assorted Mushroom-shaped trees made of Stripped Pale Oak and Amethyst blocks
• Larger mushroom trees with builds provided by emchmu
• Common Lakes of purple Water filled with Mud
• Upper caves have Grass Blocks, Amethyst blocks, and End Rods

Mutated Wilds

• End Stone surface
• Lots of Short and Dry grasses
• Common trees made of Acacia Wood and Acacia Leaves
• Occasional large, alien trees made of Acacia Wood and Jungle Leaves, with builds provided by emchmu
• Common Lakes of purple Water filled with Mud
• Upper caves have Grass Blocks and Warped Wart blocks

Torchflower Meadow

• Large hilly regions covered in red Grass Blocks
• Dense red Short Grass with pockets of Torchflowers
• Occasional small bushes of purple Oeak Leaves
• Occasional branching tree-like shapes made of Resin Blocks

Monochrome Fields

• A flat depression in the ground
• Fog in this biome is very dense, with a lower ambient light level
• Surface covered in Pale Moss blocks and pale-colored Grass Blocks
• Lots of Short Grass, Pale Moss Carpets, and Snow
• More common Craters
• More common Metal Salbage
• Infrequent decyaed trees made of Birch Logs and Pale Oak Leaves
• Creaking Hearts are commonly hidden under the surface, and Creaking are active for longer periods of time
• Upper caves have lots of Gress Blocks, Pale Moss, Hanging Pale Moss, and Eyeblossoms

Sculk Flats

• A flat depression in the ground
• Fog in this biome is very dense, with a lower ambient light level
• Surface covered in Sculk Blocks and Sculk Veins
• Lots of Sculk Sensors, Sculk Catalysts, and Sculk Shriekers that can summon Wardens
• Common spikes made of Bone Blocks and Sculk, using technbiques borrowed from Incendium
• More common Craters
• More common Metal Salbage
• All caves are covered in Sculk, like the Deep Dark
• Ancient Cities can generate here

Proteus Ocean

• Some colonies of assorted Corals and ocean vegetation on Brown Mushroom blocks
• Divided into two regions
• Fungal Forest
  • Seafloor made of Sand
  • Many large mushroom-shaped trees made of assorted Warped Stems, Shroomlights, and Resin Blocks, including builds provided by emchmu
  • Some large domes made of Fire Coral and Resin Blocks, with Quartz Blocks and Calcite inside
  • Lots of Horn Coral fans on many surfaces
  • Minimal Seagrass and Kelp
• Kelp Forest
  • Seafloor made of a mix of Sand and Muddy Mangrove Roots
  • Many large Kel-like trees made of Warped Stems and Horn Coral Blocks
  • Lots of tall Kelp plants
  • Minmal Seagrass

Deep Proteus Ocean

• Some colonies of assorted Corals and ocean vegetation on Brown Mushroom blocks
• Divided into two regions
• Lilypad Islands
  • Seafloor made of a mix of Sand and Moss Blocks
  • Lots of Seagrass, Kelp, and Glow Lichen on the Seafloor
  • Many giant lilypads float at the surface of the water, with small islands stuck to their roots below
• Vent Forest
  • Seafloor made of a mix of Sand and Tube Coral Blocks
  • Many tree-like vents made of Netherrack, with Magma Blocks on the ends producing bubble columns
  • Many mounds of volcanic vents, with Soul Sand inside producing bubble columns

Slime Caves

• Cave biome featuring lots of Slime Blocks, Lime and Green Terracottas, Moss Blocks, and Verdant Froglights on all surfaces
• Ground covered in many pools of water, featuring Lilypads
• Short Grass, Moss Carpet, and Pitcher Plants generate here

Martian Caves

• Cave biome features lots of Red Sand, Red Sandstone, and Terracotta on all surfaces
• Common patches of Dead Bushes and Cacti
• Iron Ore is more common here
