MCRelay is a server-side Minecraft mod that allows clients to communicate with a Discord server in-game. This mod only implements new commands in the game, which means that it only has to be installed server-side. By using the Discord API and a web server, players on a Minecraft server (or singleplayer) are able to talk to members of a Discord server. This allows for ease of communcation between players of larger servers without having to constantly change tabs or have everyone online at the same time. This mod works in conjunction with the MCRelay Discord Bot, which is required for the mod to work. Installation and setup instructions for the Discord bot are available at the Github link above.
Key Commands
There are a few key commands within the mod that support its main functionality. These are:
/dm <server> <channel> <message>: This send the message to the specified channel within the specified Discord server./msglast <message>: This lets you message your last messaged server/channel without having to type it out again.
A full list of commands is available on the Github repo linked here.
Installation
MCRelay is a server-side mod, so it does not have to be installed on the client for it to work on a server.
If you wish to install it on a server, it must be a fabric server. Simply put the mod in the mods folder and it will begin working.
If you wish to install it client side to use in a singleplayer world, simply install fabric and place it in your mods folder.
