Muskets Perfected
Revamped version of ewewukek's Musket Mod, stripped down and reshaped to perfect the bare basics.

Crafting
Iron Ingots + Sticks + Flint + Gunpowder → Musket
Musket + Spyglass → Scoped Musket
Controls
RMB loads the musket.
Once loaded, RMB activates the scope and LMB fires the musket.
Mechanics
Muskets
- reload in 1.5s
- do not require ammo
- do not work when submerged
- do not have durability
- are unable to be held in offhand slot
- are enchantable just like regular weaponry
Bullets
- travel at 4096 blocks per second
- break through all types of glass panes
- lose power when travelling through liquid
- trigger an xp sound effect upon killing of victim
Headshots
- multiplies damage by 3x
- implemented for most biped and quadruped hitbox shapes
- generate crit particles
Musket Exclusive
- does 14 damage (7 hearts)
Scoped Musket Exclusive
- does 16 damage (8 hearts)
- scope zooms with a factor of 4x
- scope decreases sensitivity by 2.5x
- retain enchantments from musket prior to being crafted
Enchantments
Power
- bullets do +4 damage per level (scales with headshot multiplier)
Flame
- bullets ignite victims
- bullets instantly detonate creepers, TNT, and TNT minecarts
- bullets light campfires and candles
Quick Charge
- decreases musket load time
- lvl 1: decrease of 0.45s (load time: 1.05s)
- lvl 2: decrease of 0.15s (load time: 0.9s)
- lvl 3: decrease of 0.4s (load time: 0.5s)
Infinity
- muskets are always loaded, allowing for continuous firing
- reload delay replaced by vanilla item cooldown (duration decreases with quick charge)
