1. New Weapon

1.1 Combat Axe

The combat axe is an exclusive weapon that can only be obtained in the Nether, specifically in the new structures.

• Features:

  • High damage with both critical and normal hits.
  • Long cooldown time.

• How to craft it:

  1. Obtain the Combat Axe Blade, a new item found in Abyssal Vaults.
  2. Combine it with a blaze rod to create the combat axe.

2. New Structures

2.1 Abyssal Lava Bastion

• Small chambers located in the Nether Wastes.
• Contain abyssal spawners and new vaults with treasures, including the Combat Axe.

2.2 Abyssal Sand Bastion

• Larger and more difficult than the previous bastion.
• Has multiple floors, each more challenging than the last, leading to the treasure chamber.
• Provides more loot than the Abyssal Lava Bastions.

3. New Enemy

3.1 Brute Rider

• Combination of a hoglin and a brute piglin.
• Equipped with armor, slow but strong in melee combat.
• Can appear in groups, surrounded by guards with the same equipment.
• If defeated, another brute takes its place, maintaining the threat.

4. New Blocks

4.1 Nether Vault

• Contains enchanted armor, golden apples, blocks, and new items.
• Requires: new Nether Key.
• It is the most common vault within the bastions.

4.2 Abyssal Vault

• Higher quality loot, including:

  • New music disc
  • Netherite upgrades
  • Wither skull
  • Combat Axe Blade

• Requires: new Abyssal Key

4.3 Abyssal Spawner

• Summons enemies to hinder obtaining rewards.
• Can generate Nether keys and other items.

5. New Items

5.1 Abyssal Bottle

• Found in bastion chests and can be traded with piglins.
• Grants the Abyssal Effect, necessary to face stronger forces in bastions and obtain better loot.

5.2 Lava Lobster Stew

• Obtained by milking a lavalobster.
• Provides fire resistance for a few seconds.

5.3 "Pigstep V.2" Disc

• A new version of the Pigstep disc.
• Found in the new bastions.

5.4 Nether Disc Fragment

• Found in common bastion chests.
• Can be traded with piglins.
• Collecting 9 fragments yields the Pigstep V.2 disc.

6. New Effect

6.1 Abyssal Omen

• Works like the Bad Omen in challenge rooms.
• Activates the second phase of abyssal spawners and allows obtaining Abyssal Keys.
• Can be removed with milk or upon death, including regeneration with a totem.

7. New Enchantments

7.1 Heavyweight

• Exclusive enchantment for the Combat Axe.
• Effect: creates a small area explosion when performing a critical hit.
• Impact: damages nearby enemies and the wielder, increases weapon wear but significantly boosts damage.

7.2 Pummeling

• Enchantment with up to 3 levels for the Combat Axe.
• Effect: normal hits stun enemies, causing temporary slowness.
• Enemies can still attack, so it is recommended to keep distance during combat.
