No Too Expensive Anvil is a small Fabric mod focused on one thing: letting high-cost vanilla anvil operations continue past the original "Too Expensive" limit.
It does not rewrite enchantments, item data, compatibility rules, or repair behavior. Prior work penalties still accumulate normally, and low-cost anvil operations remain unchanged. Only the final high-level anvil cost is made usable.
For costs below 40 levels, vanilla behavior is preserved. For costs at 40 or above, the mod uses a friendlier curve:
paid cost = min(vanilla cost, 39 + floor(sqrt(vanilla cost - 39) * 2.5))

Multiplayer / 多人联机
EN: For LAN or dedicated servers, install the mod on the host/server. Clients may join without it, but installing it on clients is recommended so the anvil screen displays the correct high-cost value instead of vanilla "Too Expensive" text.

Compatibility / 兼容性

- If another mod fully replaces the anvil screen or result calculation, this mod should not crash, but may not affect that replacement block or UI.
- Tax Free Levels is explicitly detected. When it is installed, Tax Free Levels takes precedence and this mod disables its overlapping anvil cost mixins to avoid conflicts.
