Photo Screen
Photo Screen is a mod about photography and a mysterious Yeti living somewhere in the snowy biomes. Track it down, sneak up close, don't wake i and take the perfect shot.
A Yeti that actually lives its life
The Yeti is a hostile mob with 100 HP, short sight range (15 blocks), and a rich set of behaviors. While it's busy with its own routine, it won't notice you вЂ" that's your chance:
- Sleep. At nightfall the Yeti looks for a wool block nearby (16 blocks), walks up to it and sleeps until morning.
- Florist. Spots a flower, picks it, and squeezes it in its fist, turning it into dye.
- Artist. Sometimes walks up to a stone wall and draws on it вЂ" the drawing stays on the wall.
- Dinner. May get interested in a deer carcass and sit down to eat вЂ" for a whole minute.
- Musician. Picks up a horn lying nearby and plays it, surrounded by note particles.
- Baby Yeti. A small, adorable, motionless baby that looks great in photos.
Careful: the flash enrages it
Photograph the Yeti while it's eating and it will notice the flash, snap around, and enter rage mode: a unique angry run animation, heavier attacks, and a special grab attack where the Yeti lifts you up and roars straight into your face, leaving you immobilized. It also occasionally hurls a snow blast at range in combat.
Photography is the core mechanic
- Camera take flash photos; each photo is saved as an item with a real captured image.
- Photo trap a block that automatically takes a shot when the target comes close. Set it up, bait it, and wait.
- Golden shot collection. Photograph four targets вЂ" the Yeti, the Baby Yeti, a Yeti fur piece, and a Yeti footprint in the snow вЂ" and those photo frames turn golden.
- Photos are true dynamic textures, not static pictures: decorate your world with your own shots.
