Planet Craft is a NeoForge mod that lets you create, customize, and manage planets directly inside Minecraft. Build huge 3D planets in the world, place 2D planets in the skybox, create solar systems, atmospheres, textures, orbits, Black Holes, and more. It is made for players who want to turn their world into a space scene, a custom sky, or a full planet-building sandbox.
Recommended / Before you play Dont use shaders since some of it break and might break the illusion Keep a GUI scale of 3 or lower The higher the graphics the less chance of visual bugs
Keybinds P to open the Planet Editor O to change the planet you are currently looking at
Planet Creation Create planets from an in-game GUI and edit them while playing. Planets can be server-side 3D objects or skybox-based 2D visuals. Each planet can have its own name, size, position, color, material, texture, atmosphere, glow, corona, spin, orbit, and render mode.
Space Dimension To get to the space dimension run this /execute in planetcraft:space run tp @a ~ ~ ~
Textures You and your friends can add your own custom textures to planets by going to run/config/planetcraft_planets/textures and putting them there and they sync in real time to other people that use the mod with you.
3D Planets 3D planets exist in the world as large customizable objects. They can be placed near you or extremely far away, made massive, given rings, textures, atmospheres, procedural elevation, and orbit paths. They are server-side, so players on the server can see and interact with the same system.
2D Skybox Planets 2D planets render in the skybox and can be used client-side or server-side. They are useful for custom skies, replacing the sun or moon, or creating distant planets without needing server-side world entities.
Solar Systems Use the solar system tools to create full orbiting systems. Planets can orbit other planets, use circular or elliptical paths, and if its orbiting a sun it can even light up depending on the way its facing. Customization
Planets support RGB colors, imported textures, procedural surfaces, atmosphere settings, corona glow, materials, warp effects, black-hole-style visuals, ring customization, and layer priority. Rings
Each planet can have multiple rings. Rings can have their own color, material, glow, radius, offset, scale, tilt, rotation, and speed.
Save And Load Save an entire planet system to a file and load it later in another world. Planets are world-specific unless you intentionally load a saved system.
Extra Features Includes in-world planet selection, teleport-to-planet tools, hyperspeed flight for traveling large systems, texture importing and sharing, space dimension skybox support, and commands for spawning or deleting solar systems.
If the mod ends up getting alot of downloads i might add a few more stuff like: Different shapes like triangles, squares or donuts, Procedural planet generation so you can explore planets, Spaceship for space travel, clouds, sunsets and stars with sunlight and alot of other cool stuff.
