⚔️ Real-Time Action Combat (Action RPG)
Say goodbye to waiting! Forget about menus and turn-based systems. In the Pokkén Addon, you control your Pokémon's every move (WASD) and physically unleash attacks in the world, transforming Minecraft into a true action RPG.
🎯 Dynamic Aiming and Positioning
Launching an Ember or a Thunderbolt now requires aim and timing. Master the distance, position yourself strategically, and dodge enemy attacks in real time. The battlefield is yours to dominate.
📺 Arcade-Style Battle HUD
A completely new graphical user interface (GUI), inspired by classic fighting games. Take full control with:
- Vibrant, easy-to-read HP bars.
- Visual display of hotkeys for each attack (Moves).
- Immediate visual feedback
- Immediate visual feedback on damage effectiveness (e.g., 2x, 0.5x).
- An animated, passive Battle Log in the corner of the screen, narrating the action without obstructing your view.
🧠 Advanced and Faithful Mechanics
Despite the change in pace, the spirit of Pokémon remains. The add-on preserves all official mathematical logic:
- STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus).
- Weakness, Resistance, and Immunity tables.
- Status effects, Abilities, and Physical/Special multipliers.
- If the move isn't effective, the game alerts you visually!
⚾ Seamless Integration with Poké Balls
Need to catch your opponent? Press the action key, and the camera instantly switches back to the trainer's view. Your arm animates to throw the Poké Ball in real time. If the capture is successful, the battle ends automatically.
🦅 Special Physics and Gravity
Anatomical accuracy is a priority. Flying or floating Pokémon (such as Solosis or Pidgey) glide smoothly across the battlefield while being controlled, ensuring immersive and natural movement.
🔄 Quick Pokémon Swap (Insta-Swap)
Adapt your strategy mid-battle. Replace your active Pokémon with another healthy one from your team with the press of a single button, without interrupting the flow of the action.
⌨️ How to Play (Default Controls)
When you enter battle, your HUD will automatically change and the camera will lock onto your active Pokémon.

🛠️ Installation and Requirements
This is an Addon/Mod that requires dependencies to function.
- Make sure you have Minecraft (a compatible version) and Fabric installed.
- Install the base mod Cobblemon.
- Place the Pokkén Addon
.jarfile in yourmodsfolder.
⚠️ Important Note on Development
This mod is still in the Alpha (under development) phase.
- Certain more complex Abilities and Moves that specifically rely on turn-based mechanics (e.g., Protect, Trick Room, or multi-turn moves) may not yet be implemented or may have been adapted for the Action RPG style.
