Nexus Replay Voice Chat

Client-side compatibility bridge between Simple Voice Chat and ReForgedPlay Mod on NeoForge.

This mod records voice chat audio into replay data and plays it back during replay viewing/rendering.

Installation

Install NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1
Put the following jars into your client mods folder:
- nexusreplayvoicechat-...jar
- Simple Voice Chat (NeoForge)
- ReForgedPlay Mod
Launch the game

Usage

Join a server and use voice chat normally
Start replay recording (ReForgedPlay/Replay workflow)
Voice packets are stored in the replay
Open the replay to hear recorded voice
Render/export replay with integrated voice audio

Compatibility Notes

This mod is client-side and uses optional custom payload channels for compatibility with servers that do not have this mod installed.
Voice behavior depends on Simple Voice Chat availability and connection state.

Important Migration Note

Recent versions use the mod id namespace nexusreplayvoicechat.

If you previously recorded replays with older builds using the old namespace, those recordings may not include compatible voice payload identifiers without migration.

Known Limitations

Very slow/very fast replay speed may affect voice quality (pitch/rate handling)
This project does not add server-side voice features; it bridges replay recording/playback
