ThrowIt
Throw literally anything — and watch what happens.
ThrowIt adds a single keybind (default: R) that lets you throw whatever item you're currently holding. What happens next depends on what you threw.
Features
- 🧨 TNT & explosive blocks — explode on impact, just like the real thing.
- 🥚 Spawn eggs — hatch the mob the instant they land, exactly like right-clicking one.
- 🪣 Water / Lava / Powder Snow buckets — empty their contents wherever they land, leaving you an empty bucket to pick back up.
- ⚔️ Weapons & tools — deal damage based on the item's real attack power when they hit a mob or player, then drop on the ground so you can retrieve them, just like a thrown arrow.
- ⛏️ Netherite tools — throw a Netherite pickaxe, axe, or shovel at a wall, floor, or ceiling and it mines a full 3×3 area on impact (only blocks that tool can actually harvest), then drops for you to pick back up.
- 📦 Everything else — lands safely on the ground as a normal item, ready to be picked up.
Every throw is server-authoritative, so it works correctly and fairly in multiplayer.
How to throw
Hold any item and press R. The key is rebindable from Options → Controls → Throwit.

Known limitations
- Mob buckets (axolotl, fish, tadpole) currently behave as regular thrown items — they don't release their mob yet. Planned for a future update.
Compatibility
Designed to work alongside other mods — ThrowIt only adds a new keybind and a new projectile entity, it doesn't override or replace any vanilla item behavior.
