This datapack adds a Vampire to the Origins Mod, allowing you to play with a whole new range of abilities and weaknesses. Vampires heal rapidly, and can be incredibly strong and tough to kill. However, they can be killed, if weak enough, or with certain tools.
This project is massively inspired by Haema and Bewitchment's Vampires.
To summarise the abilities of the Vampire:
- You do not need food, you can drink the blood of living mobs.
- You do not exhaust naturally, instead you constantly heal at the cost of blood.
- You are unable to be killed unless entirely out of blood, or by certain sources.
- You burn in daylight, and cannot heal when on fire.
- Wooden Stakes and Smite bypass your immortality, drain blood, and stun you.
- Your strength and speed scale with your blood (food) level.
This is a very basic description, and doesn't really do it much justice
