A lightweight diagnostics and support-report tool for Minecraft modpacks.
The mod validates the player's environment against a configurable modpack profile and helps authors identify common setup problems before requesting full logs or crash reports.
Checks
The profile can define requirements for:
- Minecraft version
- mod loader
- Java version
- allocated RAM
- required mods
- recommended mods
- blocked or incompatible mods
- allowed extra mods
Detected issues are shown in-game through a startup notification and an issues screen.
Support reports
Players can copy a generated support report with one click.
The report may include:
- pack name and profile version
- Minecraft version
- loader and loader version
- Java version
- allocated RAM
- operating system
- detected issues
- missing required mods
- blocked mods
- recommended mods
- extra mods
- installed mods
This gives modpack authors a structured overview of the player's setup before deeper debugging is needed.
Configuration
Modpack authors can configure the diagnostic profile here:
config/vartapack/profile.json
The profile controls which versions, loaders, mods, RAM values, and support links are expected for the modpack.
