Victus is a mod about Hearts and how to use them in interesting ways. It allows you to craft special Heart Aspects and apply them to your health bar. When these hearts are depleted in combat, they trigger unique and powerful effects, turning your health bar into a tactical resource rather than just a survival meter. Featured Heart Aspects
- Archery Aspect: Fires a burst of Instant Damage II tipped arrows at nearby enemies when broken.
- Diamond Aspect: Passively grants +2 Armor and +2 Armor Toughness while the heart is active.
- Blazing Aspect: Sets nearby enemies on fire and grants you temporary Fire Resistance upon breaking.
- Evoking Aspect: Summons loyal Vexes to defend you when you lose this heart.
- Draconic Aspect: Releases a cloud of Dragon's Breath to punish attackers.
- Potion Aspects: Various hearts that trigger specific status effects like Speed or Strength when lost.
Changes in this Edition
- Iron Aspect: Summons a protective Iron Golem when broken. In this version, the summoned golem is specifically modified to never attack its owner under any circumstances. Emerald Aspect: Enhances your entire health bar by accelerating the recovery and recharge speed of other hearts instead of just providing a flat cooldown reduction. 1.Ocean Aspect: Automatically activates when you are in water. It grants both Dolphin's Grace and Conduit Power effects while submerged, consuming charges to maintain your aquatic abilities.
- Native NeoForge 1.21.1: This version is completely rewritten for the modern NeoForge environment using Data Attachments for better performance and stability.
- Zero Dependencies: All Fabric-exclusive requirements like owo-lib and Cardinal Components have been removed. Just drop the mod in and play.
- Rebalanced Gameplay: The Archery Aspect now fires Instant Damage II arrows for better late-game viability, and the Diamond Aspect has been adjusted to provide both Armor and Toughness for improved protection scaling.
