Vivarium is a psychological horror mod, designed to make you feel guilty for your in-game actions. You are the monster, and The World is your victim.
The mod does not contain custom hostile entities, and the progression is based on your activity. You will see changes in the environment, animal behavior, and in your perception of reality.
Multiplayer does not work, and will crash immediately.
What a lively world

-Vitaflower block, reactive flora that can be crafted into Cyan Dye

-Bird animal, can appear as an American Robin or a Mourning Dove
-Blood Liquid, found in the bowels of the earth
-Fully functional in-game config menu, including a "pace" setting to convienently adjust speed of events to your liking

-Central "Guilt" variable that drives the mod, incremented upon killing mobs or mining most blocks-Event where a broken log will bleed and a pool of blood will form
-Event where you will be caved in and teleported somewhere adjacent to disorient you
-Water and fog will slowly turn red as the mod progresses
-Music will pitch down as the mod progresses
-Neutral mobs will be aggro'd immediately at a point in mod progression
-Killing mobs will occasionally cause a blood effect
-Occasional sound effects (heartbeat underground, crying otherwise)
-Passive mobs will flee after a certain point in progression
-Hostile mobs will spawn more frequently as the mod progresses
-Hallucinated carvings will appear on blocks when you stare at a certain block for a long time
-Rain will be made of blood after a certain point in progression
-The sun will change to a crying eye after a certain point in progression.
-Vitaflowers will close or wilt when you get near
-Heat wave event where armor will cook you while in the sun
-Massive tree structure known as the World Tree, the World Heart can be found underneath
-Volcanic eruption event
-Thunderstorm event with heavier lightning than normal
-Dream sequence where you will find a knife which is used to complete the mod's progression
