The first step is to craft the Interworlder's Mask. It is made by placing an amethyst in the center, surrounded by three Crying Obsidian blocks (at the sides and bottom) and two Obsidian blocks (at the upper left and right).
Equipping the mask unlocks the ability to use Void magic and harness your own Spark. Initially, the mask offers a 5% chance to teleport and avoid death, but the levels of both skills can be upgraded. To do this, you need to farm hostile mobs and explore the world, as there are other ways to progress as well.
By using the resulting "sparks," you can teleport short distances across the world on your own. Along the way, there is a small chance that small deposits of yellowish-white crystals—known as skint—will spawn. Mining them yields a specific item that can be used to replenish your Spark energy and upgrade its level. Leveling up Void magic is, on average, at least twice as difficult.
You can craft crystals from skint and use them for decoration! They also provide bonuses when touched. Beware of its counterpart—skintonite, or simply "anti-skint"—which also has its own decorative variants. The /spark command is available for all abilities. Enjoy the game!
