DeathRedeem — Death Item Redemption Plugin

Features

When a player dies, the dropped items do not disappear or scatter on the ground — instead they are saved by the plugin. Players can redeem their items via commands or a GUI by spending in-game currency.

Installation

1. Place DeathRedeem-1.0.0.jar into the server's plugins/ folder
2. Make sure Vault and an economy plugin are installed (e.g. EssentialsX, SimpleEconomy, CmiEconomy, etc.)
3. Restart the server, or use /plugman load DeathRedeem

Items priced by default:

• Armor: iron/gold/diamond/netherite helmets, chestplates, leggings, boots
• Weapons & tools: iron/gold/diamond/netherite swords, axes, pickaxes, shovels, hoes, tridents
• Minerals: diamonds, emeralds, netherite ingots/scraps/blocks, gold/iron/copper ingots, gold/iron blocks
• Special: enchanted golden apples, elytra, tridents, totems of undying, shulker boxes, nether stars, maces, heavy cores, dragon eggs, dragon heads
• Enchanted items (weapons/tools/armor only)

Free items (not priced): Cobblestone, dirt, sand, wood, stone, food, potions, arrows, flowers, signs, and all other items

Hot Reload

After modifying the configuration, run:

/redeemadmin reload

No server restart is required.

Data Files

Death records are stored in the plugins/DeathRedeem/data/ folder, one .yml file per record. File name format: <playerUUID>_<recordID>.yml

FAQ

Q: Why did my items still drop on the ground when I died? A: This is normal. The plugin immediately removes the drops and stores them in the system, so a brief flash on the ground is expected. If items remain on the ground, the plugin is not active.

Q: I get a "Transaction Failed" error when redeeming? A: Check whether Vault and a valid economy plugin are installed. If all items are free (price 0), the free redemption will not deduct any currency.

Q: How do I change the currency name? A: Modify economy.currency-name in config.yml, then run /redeemadmin reload.

Q: Want to add/remove an item for pricing?

安装

修改配置后执行：

无需重启服务器。

数据文件

死亡记录保存在 plugins/DeathRedeem/data/ 文件夹下，每一条记录一个 .yml 文件。
文件名格式：<玩家UUID>_<记录ID>.yml

常见问题

Q: 为什么我死了物品还是掉地上了？
A: 这是正常现象。插件会立即清除掉落物并存入系统，所以地上即使闪一下也是正常的。如果物品依然留在地上说明插件未生效。

Q: 赎回时提示"交易失败"？
A: 检查是否安装了 Vault 和有效的经济插件。如果所有物品都是杂物（价格为 0），则免费赎回不会扣款。

Q: 怎么改货币名称？
A: 修改 config.yml 中的 economy.currency-name，然后 /redeemadmin reload。

Q: 想添加/移除某种物品参与计价？
