Lifesteal World
A Paper plugin recreating the Lifesteal World event - heart stealing, phases, combat bans, and legendary items.
Inspired by the Lifesteal World special event on the Lifesteal network.
Requirements
- Paper 1.21.11+
- Java 21+
Drop the jar into your plugins/ folder and restart the server.

Hearts
- Kill a player → gain a heart
- Die → lose a heart
- Max 20 hearts
- Week 1 floor: 3 hearts · Week 2 floor: 1 heart
- At the floor, hearts no longer transfer on kill/death
- Withdraw hearts with
/withdraw <amount>into crafted heart items - Crafted hearts cannot be used at 10+ hearts
- Deathban only during the final phases - no revives

Admins set the phase with /lsw phase <name>.
Combat & balance
- 1-hour grace at start (bossbar countdown)
- 30 minutes of death protection after dying (equipping armor ends it early)
- Combat log: leaving while tagged counts as a death
- Diamond combat gear only · netherite tools allowed
- Enchant caps: Sharpness / Protection III, Power IV
- Mace damage capped at 8 hearts · TNT minecarts at 10 hearts
- One totem per fight
- Week 1: invisible players' names are hidden in kill/death chat
Banned in combat (among others): ender pearls, end crystals, enchanted golden apples, combat lava/ice, elytra / riptide abuse, bed bombs, and several potion types.
Legendary items
Hearts · Mace · Netherite Chestplate
- Cannot be stashed in chests, ender chests, barrels, bundles, and similar containers
- Dropped or voided items recover on the End platform after 60 seconds
- Only one mace - custom recipe (Breeze Rod + Dragon Egg + Heavy Core), immortal
- Dragon egg goes to whoever dealt the most damage to the Ender Dragon
- Unique unbreakable Netherite Chestplate (scavenger prize)
