NeoTab – Modern Animated Tablist for Paper

NeoTab is a lightweight and customizable tablist plugin for Minecraft Paper servers.

It adds a clean animated tab header, a dynamic footer with live server stats, and simple in-game commands — without turning your server into a lag machine.

NeoTab is built for lobbies, SMPs, challenge servers, small networks, and anyone who wants a modern tablist without bloated features or complicated setup.

Animated Tab Header

Customize your server name with smooth animated styles:

• Rainbow
• Pulse
• Gradient Wave
• Static

The header supports MiniMessage formatting, gradients, colors, and custom text.

Dynamic Tab Footer

Show useful live server information directly in the tablist:

• RAM usage
• RAM percentage
• Player ping
• Average server ping
• Online and max players

The footer is designed to be clean, readable, and lightweight.

Performance Presets

NeoTab includes configurable performance modes so you can choose how often the tablist updates.

Available presets:

• smooth
• balanced
• light
• custom tick values

Performance settings are saved in the config and stay active after a restart.

Optional Plugin Support

NeoTab can work on its own, but also supports optional integrations:

• PlaceholderAPI
• LuckPerms

These plugins are not required. NeoTab will still run without them.

✅ Compatibility

NeoTab 1.1.1 targets modern Paper servers and has been tested on:

• Paper 1.20.6
• Paper 1.21.x
• Paper 26.1.x
• Paper 26.2 Beta

Older versions below 1.20.6 are not planned, because NeoTab uses modern Paper/Minecraft UI and text APIs.

Note: Paper 26.2 is currently treated as beta-tested compatibility.

🧪 Beta Notice

NeoTab is still in beta.

The plugin should already work well for testing and smaller live servers, but bugs can still happen while new features are being added.

Please keep your config backed up before updating between beta versions.
