Give your players a real banking experience — request loans, negotiate interest and duration, back them with collateral, and let your staff decide.

PlayerCredit adds a full player-driven loan/credit system to your server. Players open a clean GUI with /playercredit, apply for a loan, propose their own interest rate, duration and reason, and optionally back the loan with items and/or a written note as collateral. Staff members (configurable per-permission or by name) review, adjust and approve or deny requests directly from a menu — no commands to memorize.

✨ Features

• /playercredit main menu — one command, one GUI, everything a player needs: request a loan, view/manage existing loans, read the server's loan policy. Staff additionally see "Pending Requests" and "Seized Collateral".
• Player-proposed interest rates — the config defines a default rate, but players can propose their own within a configurable min/max range (or you can disable this entirely).
• Player-chosen loan duration — players pick how many days the loan should run (within a configurable min/max range), not just a fixed server-wide value.
• Required reason — players must justify why they need the loan (fully configurable, can be made optional).
• Multiple collateral items — players can place several items (up to a configurable limit) into the request GUI as security for the loan, not just one.
• Written collateral notes — can't put a house, a claim, or land into your inventory? Players can type a free-text description instead of (or alongside) physical items.

• Configurable approvers — set a permission node and/or an explicit list of player names who can review requests.
• Full review workflow — approvers get notified in chat, open a review GUI with the requester's real head/skin, tweak the amount/interest/duration (buttons or type an exact value), inspect the offered collateral items and note, then accept or deny with one click.

• Automatic payout & repayment — accepted loans instantly pay out through your economy plugin (Vault). Players repay 25%/50%/100% or a custom amount from the "My Loans" menu.
• Due dates & defaults — every accepted loan gets a due date based on its chosen duration. Overdue loans are automatically marked as defaulted; staff are notified and can seize the attached collateral via /playercredit collateral.

• In-game policy editor for admins — admins can open the server's loan policy as a real, editable book directly from the "Loan Policy" menu, edit it like any Minecraft book, and save it back into the config with one click — no server restart or file editing needed.

• Fully configurable policy — min/max loan amount, interest bounds, duration bounds, max active loans per player, required fields, max collateral items, and a free-text policy list shown to players before they apply.
• Bilingual out of the box — English by default, switch to German with one line in the config. All GUI text and messages are stored in editable language files, so you can translate to any language.
• Vault economy support — works with any Vault-compatible economy plugin (EssentialsX, CMI, etc.).
• Persistent storage — all loans (including serialized collateral items) are saved to loans.yml and survive restarts.

Every player-facing message and GUI label lives in lang/en.yml / lang/de.yml and can be freely edited or translated. The loan policy text itself can either be edited in config.yml directly or, more conveniently, through the in-game book editor (see above).

🖥️ How it works

1. A player runs /playercredit and clicks Request a Loan.
2. They set the amount, their proposed interest rate and the loan duration using the GUI buttons, or type an exact value for each.
3. They write a reason and, optionally, place items in the collateral slots and/or write a collateral note for anything that doesn't fit in an inventory.
4. On submit, all online approvers are notified in chat.
5. An approver opens /playercredit, goes to Pending Requests, reviews the details (including the requester's head, the collateral items and note), tweaks amount/interest/duration if needed, and clicks Accept or Deny.
6. On acceptance, the loan amount is instantly paid to the player's balance and a due date is set based on the agreed duration.
7. The player repays over time (or in full) from My Loans. Once fully repaid, any collateral is automatically returned.
8. If a loan passes its due date unpaid, it's marked as defaulted, approvers are notified, and the collateral (if any) becomes claimable via /playercredit collateral.
