Turn home teleportation into a craftable survival mechanic.

RecallPotion is a lightweight Paper plugin that introduces a custom Recall Potion brewed through the vanilla Brewing Stand.

Instead of relying on a free /home command, players must spend resources and brewing time to return to their bed, respawn anchor, or the server's respawn world.

• No Player Commands Required Players only need to brew and drink the potion.

🧪 Default Recipe

The custom brewing time only applies to valid Recall Potion recipes. Other recipes using the same ingredient remain unaffected.

🏠 Teleportation Behavior

After successfully drinking a Recall Potion, the player is teleported to:

1. Their bed or charged respawn anchor.
2. The server respawn world's spawn point when no personal respawn location is available.

A pending recall is safely cancelled when the player's relevant state changes, such as when they switch items, move inventory items, enter a portal, die, disconnect, change game mode, or are teleported by another source.

Missing configuration options are added automatically without overwriting existing values.

💻 Commands

The reload permission is granted to server operators by default.

Regular players do not need any permissions to brew or consume Recall Potions.

• Java 21
• No external dependencies

RecallPotion uses Paper-specific brewing APIs and is not designed for Spigot-only servers.

📥 Installation

1. Download the latest RecallPotion release.
2. Place the JAR file in your server's plugins folder.
3. Start or restart the server.
4. Optionally edit plugins/recallPotion/config.yml.
5. Run /recallpotion reload after changing the configuration.

⚠️ Upgrading from Older Versions

RecallPotion 1.2.0 uses Persistent Data Container metadata to identify custom potions.

Potions brewed using older versions may not contain the required marker and may no longer activate teleportation. Players should brew new Recall Potions after upgrading.
