RedLegendaries

Overview

RedLegendaries is a high-performance Paper/Spigot Minecraft plugin (Minecraft 1.21+ / Java 21) introducing 9 custom Legendary Weapons. Each weapon features active primary/secondary abilities, passive buffs, custom particle effects, sound effects, and 3D display entity visuals.

Abilities are cast using offhand keybinds (F / Shift + F), backed by an action-bar HUD, a GUI browser menu, customizable config options, and admin commands.

Features

Primary Ability: Press offhand key (F) while holding a weapon.
Secondary Ability: Press Sneak + offhand key (Shift + F).
Offhand Protection: Prevents placing legendary items into the offhand slot.
Action-Bar Cooldown HUD: Displays real-time cooldown timers (P: Ready | S: 12s) when holding a weapon.
Mid-Air Re-Cast: Certain abilities (like Void Pearl) can be activated again mid-air to teleport instantly.
3D Visual Effects: Uses Minecraft 1.21 BlockDisplay entities for spinning projectiles, floating eye models, and custom particle graphics.
Fall Protection: Automatically cancels fall damage after high-mobility abilities.

Weapons

1. Crimson Fang

Base Material: NETHERITE_SWORD
Passive: Lifesteal — Restores health equal to 25% of all melee damage dealt.
Primary Ability (Blood Dash): Dashes forward, dealing AoE damage and knocking enemies back.
Secondary Ability (Hemorrhage): Strikes a targeted enemy up to 12 blocks away, dealing heavy damage, inflicting Wither II, and healing the user.

2. Inferno Scythe

Base Material: NETHERITE_HOE
Passive: Fire Resistance — Permanent immunity to fire while held.
Primary Ability (Flame Arc): Shoots an 8-block wave of fire forward that ignites and damages all foes in its path.
Secondary Ability (Meteor Strike): Calls down a falling meteor from the sky that explodes on impact, dealing massive AoE damage and burning enemies.

3. Soul Wand

Base Material: BLAZE_ROD
Passive: None
Primary Ability (Soul Sand Bolt): Launches a spinning soul-sand block projectile whose damage increases with travel distance.
Secondary Ability (All-Seeing Eye): Spawns a floating 3D eye entity that tracks nearby enemies, fires soul laser beams, and drains saturation.

4. Soul Warden

Base Material: MACE
Passive: Soul Protection — Grants +4 extra max hearts (+8 HP) while held in main hand.
Primary Ability (Soul Burst): Emits a sculk shockwave dealing AoE damage, knockback, Weakness, and healing the caster.
Secondary Ability (Warden Shield): Grants Resistance II and Absorption II for 5 seconds.

5. Storm Pierce

Base Material: TRIDENT
Passive: Storm Aura — Ominous particle aura + 3.5 block extended melee reach.
Primary Ability (Chain Lightning): Strikes a target with lightning that chains to up to 4 nearby enemies.
Secondary Ability (Trident Rain): Creates a 5-block rain zone that rains down tridents dealing AoE damage over 3 seconds.

6. Thornblade

Base Material: NETHERITE_SWORD
Passive: None
Primary Ability (Vine Drag): Grapples to a block or pulls targeted players/entities to the user. (Press Shift to cancel grapple safely).
Secondary Ability (Poison Thorn Spike): Summons rising vine/leaf spike columns from the ground that knock up and poison enemies.

7. Time Daggers

Base Material: IRON_SWORD
Passive: None
Primary Ability (Temporal Lock): Drops a time orb that expands into a 5.5-block freeze zone, completely immobilizing trapped enemies.
Secondary Ability (Rewind): Marks current position and teleports the player back to where they were 10 seconds ago (after a 4-second delay).

8. Umbral Knives

Base Material: NETHERITE_SWORD
Passive: None
Primary Ability (Void Pearl): Launches a physics void pearl. Re-cast mid-air to instantly teleport to the pearl.
Secondary Ability (Triple Dagger Volley): Fires 3 dark void daggers in a spread that damage and slow enemies hit.

9. Void Reaver

Base Material: NETHERITE_AXE
Passive: Void Presence — Attack speed bonus + continuous Slowness I aura on nearby foes (5m radius).
Primary Ability (Void Pull): Creates a vacuum vortex pulling all nearby enemies within 8 blocks toward the player while dealing damage.
Secondary Ability (Rift Blink): Teleports behind an enemy in sight (or blinks 8 blocks forward) and delivers a high-damage strike.

Commands

/redlegendarys gui (/rl gui) — Opens the Legendary Weapons GUI menu (Permission: redlegendarys.gui).
/redlegendarys give <weapon> [player] — Gives a legendary item to a player (Permission: redlegendarys.give).
/redlegendarys list — Lists all available legendary weapon IDs.
/redlegendarys reload — Reloads the plugin configuration (Permission: redlegendarys.admin).
/redlegendarys cooldown [player] / /rl bypass — Toggles ability cooldown bypass for testing (Permission: redlegendarys.admin).
