RepairIT

RepairIT is a lightweight Paper plugin that turns anvils into an interactive repair station. Place a tool/armor and the matching material on top of an anvil as item displays, then hit the anvil with the custom Hammer to repair the item. Clean visuals, sounds, configurable balance—no GUIs, just vanilla-feeling gameplay.

Features

• Anvil workflow: tool + material become Item Displays on the anvil; strike with the Hammer to repair.
• Deep Configuration: Take full control via config.yml:
  • Balance: Set durability restored per material (e.g., IRON_INGOT, DIAMOND).
  • Customize the Hammer: Change its item type (MACE, GOLDEN_AXE, etc.), display name (colors supported), and CustomModelData. (Don't worry, the hammer causes no damage at all)
  • Custom Crafting: Enable/disable and define the Hammer's crafting recipe, including the 3x3 shape and all ingredients (e.g., 'A' = 'NETHERITE_BLOCK').
• Polished feedback: anvil "clang" on each hit, electric_spark particles on completion.
• Spam control: 1s hit cooldown.
• Smart cleanup: consumes the material, resets the hit counter; breaking the anvil drops any displays on it.
• Simple admin tools: /repairit reload (permission repairit.admin).
• Update checker: notify admins when a new version is available..

Quick Start

1. Drop the jar into /plugins and start the server.
2. Edit config.yml to balance repairs (repair-per-material) and set up your custom Hammer (item, name, CustomModelData, and crafting recipe).
3. Craft the Hammer (if enabled) and use an anvil: place tool + material; left-click the anvil with the Hammer to repair.
