RoleSync 0.9.1

RoleSync is a Velocity plugin that links Minecraft accounts with Discord accounts and syncs in-game ranks based on Discord roles.

New in Version 0.9.1:

• configuration and message files
• Configurable Discord messages in messages.yml
• SQLite and MySQL/MariaDB storage support
• Rank sync based on Discord role mappings
• No permission plugin API required, works through configurable console commands
• Join-based recheck system with configurable cache interval
• Account linking with in-game code generation and Discord verification

How it works:

• A player uses /discord link in-game to generate a verification code
• The player sends !link <code> on the server to the Discord bot
• RoleSync links the Minecraft and Discord accounts
• On join, the plugin checks whether the last role sync is older than the configured interval
• If a Discord role was added, the configured rank commands are executed
• If a Discord role was removed, the configured revoke commands are executed
• If everything is already up to date, nothing changes

Commands: /discord link - Generate a Discord link code /discord unlink - Remove the current Discord link /discord status - Show the current link status

Permissions: rolesync.use - Allows access to the basic RoleSync command

Configuration:

• config.yml contains bot, storage, interval, and rank mapping settings
• messages.yml contains all in-game and Discord messages
• Supports placeholders such as {player}, {uuid}, {code}, {rank}, and {minutes} depending on the message or command context
• Rank assignment and removal are fully customizable through command lists

Storage Options:

• SQLite for simple local setups
• MySQL/MariaDB for shared or network-wide setups
