👑 The Crowned SMP
The Crowned SMP is a custom Minecraft Paper plugin built around one simple rule:
There can only be ONE Crown. 👑
The Crown isn't just a normal piece of armor. It is the most important item on the server, and whoever wears it becomes the Crown Owner.
👑 How to Get the Crown
The Crown begins as the one legitimate Crown on the server.
Once a player becomes the Crown Owner, the Crown is permanently bound to them until they are defeated.
You cannot simply create or obtain another Crown. The plugin tracks the legitimate Crown to ensure there is only ever ONE Crown on the entire server.
⚔️ Kill the Crown Owner
Want the Crown?
Defeat the current Crown Owner.
When the Crown Owner is killed by another player:
- The Crown Owner dies.
- The Crown does NOT drop on the ground.
- The Crown is instantly transferred to the player who killed them.
- The new owner immediately has the Crown equipped.
- The previous owner no longer owns the Crown.
- The killer becomes the new Crown Owner.
Kill the King → Become the King. 👑
🛡️ The Crown Cannot Be Removed
The Crown is designed to be impossible to manually remove.
The Crown Owner cannot:
- ❌ Take the Crown off
- ❌ Replace it with another helmet
- ❌ Move it into their inventory
- ❌ Put it in a chest
- ❌ Put it in a shulker box
- ❌ Put it into a hopper
- ❌ Drop it
- ❌ Move it using inventory tricks
- ❌ Manually swap it away
The plugin constantly protects the Crown and makes sure it remains equipped.
If you own the Crown, you wear the Crown.
⚔️ Crown Powers
The Crown isn't just cosmetic.
While wearing it, the Crown Owner receives:
💪 Strength II
The Crown also has:
- 🪙 Gold helmet appearance
- ♾️ Unbreakable durability
- 👑 Custom name
- 📜 Custom lore
- ✨ Custom head rendering
- 🔒 Special Crown protection
☠️ What Happens When the Crown Owner Dies?
Player kills the Crown Owner
The Crown immediately transfers to the killer.
Old Owner: ❌ No Crown
Killer: 👑 New Crown Owner
The Crown does NOT become a normal dropped item.
The Crown Owner dies to something else
If the Crown Owner is killed by a mob, fall damage, the environment, or another non-player cause, the plugin prevents the Crown from being duplicated.
The Crown remains under the plugin's control according to the server's Crown system.
🔄 Respawning
Dying does not allow the previous Crown Owner to reclaim the Crown.
If another player has already claimed the Crown, the previous owner will NOT receive it back when they respawn.
The Crown belongs to whoever currently owns it.
💾 Server Restarts
Crown ownership is saved by the plugin.
Even if the server:
- Restarts
- Shuts down
- Crashes
- Starts again later
the Crown's ownership is preserved.
When the server starts, the plugin restores the Crown to its legitimate owner.
🚫 No Duplicate Crowns
The plugin actively protects the server against duplicate Crowns.
If duplicate Crown items somehow appear, the plugin detects and removes them so that there is still only ONE legitimate Crown.
The Crown is tracked by the plugin rather than simply relying on the item's name.

The Crowned SMP revolves around one objective:

Protect the Crown Owner.
Hunt the Crown Owner.
Form alliances.
Start wars.
Betray your friends.
And when you finally defeat the person wearing it...
